Zomato, a major player in the food delivery industry, has announced an expansion of its services to more than 100 railway stations across India. This development is part of a partnership with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), making it easier for train passengers to have meals delivered right to their seats.
CEO Deepinder Goyal Announces on X
Zomato’s CEO, Deepinder Goyal, shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting that the company has already delivered over 1 million orders through this service. Goyal expressed excitement about the new milestone, crediting the success to their partnership with IRCTC.
“Update: @zomato now delivers food directly to your train coach at over 100 railway stations, thanks to our partnership with @IRCTCofficial. We’ve already served 10 lakh orders on trains. Try it on your next journey,” Goyal posted on X.
