Mumbai-based lifestyle activewear brand Terractive has raised Rs 8 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round. The investment was led by Fireside Ventures and DeVC (Matrix Partners). The funds will be used to enhance fabric development and foster innovation in the brand’s product offerings.

Founded by Visionary Sisters

Terractive was launched in 2023 by sisters Raena Ambani and Rahee Ambani-Choksi. Combining their expertise in sports engineering and business strategy, the duo aims to redefine activewear in India.

Raena, a national-level sprinter and sports engineer, has developed product technologies for global brands used by top athletes. Her passion lies in creating comfortable and high-performance apparel. Rahee, a tennis player and LSE graduate, brings her background in strategy and investment to drive the brand’s growth.

“Our vision has always been to design innovative and high-quality apparel that combines comfort with performance. This funding will help us reach more people and lead in fabric technology for modern lifestyles,” said Raena and Rahee, co-founders of Terractive.

Commenting on the funding, Shuchi Pandya, Principal at Fireside Ventures, highlighted the growth potential of India’s activewear market. “Terractive’s focus on fabric innovation and customer-centric design sets it apart. Raena and Rahee’s expertise positions the brand to transform the activewear segment,” she said.
