Qure.ai, an AI-driven healthcare startup, has raised $65 million in its Series D funding round, led by Lightspeed and 360 ONE Asset. Other major investors, including Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, Kae Capital, and existing backers like Novo Holdings, HealthQuad, and TeamFund, also contributed to this round. The funds will be used to strengthen Qure.ai’s global presence, particularly in the United States and other markets, while advancing its AI models.
Focus on Healthcare AI Expansion
Qure.ai plans to use the funding to further develop its foundational AI models and enhance its technological capabilities. The company is also considering strategic acquisitions of medical technology firms that align with its offerings, aiming to reinforce its leadership in the healthcare AI sector.
The startup, founded in 2016, has made significant strides in using AI and deep learning technologies to enhance healthcare accessibility worldwide. Qure.ai’s solutions focus on early detection and management of diseases like Tuberculosis (TB), lung cancer, and stroke. Its AI-driven technologies assist clinicians in diagnosis while also supporting advancements in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
Global Reach and Certifications
Qure.ai’s AI solutions are currently used in over 90 countries and more than 3,000 sites globally. The company is headquartered in Mumbai, with regional offices in New York, London, and Dubai, expanding its global reach. It holds 18 FDA-cleared indications and is certified under EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) Class IIb.
