HT Media (Hindustan Times Media Ltd.) has appointed Satyajit Sengupta as its new Executive Director of revenue. He will be responsible for driving advertising sales, marketing strategies, and revenue growth for the company. Satyajit Sengupta brings with him over two decades of experience in media sales, marketing, and business strategy. He has worked with some of India’s most prominent media organizations, helping them achieve strong revenue performance and market expansion.
Before joining Hindustan Times Media, Sengupta was part of Dainik Bhaskar Group, where he served as Chief Corporate Sales and Marketing Officer since 2017. Based in Mumbai, he played a crucial role in developing corporate sales strategies and managing key advertising partnerships. He reported directly to Girish Agarwal, Director of Dainik Bhaskar Group, and contributed significantly to the company’s advertising revenue growth.
Before his tenure at Dainik Bhaskar, Sengupta held senior leadership roles at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times Group). He served as Associate Vice President and Metro Head in Gurgaon, where he was responsible for revenue generation across all Times Group publications. His strategic approach to advertising sales and client relationships helped in expanding the company’s advertising revenue streams.
Sengupta also worked at India Today Group for more than four years, holding the position of Deputy Branch Head Impact. In this role, he was responsible for ad sales and business growth in the northern region, helping the company secure major advertising deals.
