Falguni Nayar is the founder and CEO of Nykaa, India’s leading beauty and wellness e-commerce platform. Born to a Gujarati family on the 19th of February 1963, Falguni Nayar was raised in Mumbai. Her father was a businessman in a small business assisted by her mother. She is a graduate of B.Com from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics and a postgraduate from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (1985 batch). Before founding Nykaa in 2012, she had a successful career as an investment banker at Kotak Mahindra Capital.
