AWPO Role in Helping Military Personnel
The Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO) was created in May 1999 under the Ministry of Defence (Army) to help retired army personnel and their families find jobs. AWPO has already helped over 1.3 lakh veterans secure jobs in government, semi-government, and private companies.
