Shetty transfers to the coastal resort from the brand’s flagship property, JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu. Corporate Experience

With a professional career spanning more than 14 years, Shetty has specialized in business development and premium hospitality sales across both domestic and international markets. During his tenure at the Mumbai Juhu property, a high-performing sales division was managed under his leadership. This division was responsible for delivering substantial revenue gains within the hotel’s premium group inventory and large-scale corporate catering business.

In his new role in Goa, Shetty assumes complete operational charge of the resort's sales and marketing machinery. The core mandate assigned to him involves accelerating overall revenue performance, elevating the resort's premium brand positioning, and capturing market share across India's primary luxury feeder markets.

Professional Background

Shetty holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Mangalore University. His professional background includes foundational experience in front-office operations. This operational grounding is expected to bridge the gap between day-to-day guest experiences and long-term commercial execution.

The responsibilities will cover a multi-segment portfolio. Shetty is tasked with designing targeted commercial frameworks to expand the presence of JW Marriott Goa across five critical pillars: Corporate accounts, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), high-end Leisure travel, Destination Weddings, and the global Travel Trade network.
