L’Oréal Paris Partners Shark Tank India for Women Founders

L’Oréal Paris Partners Shark Tank India

Loréal Paris has partnered with Shark Tank India to launch a special early-application window for women entrepreneurs. This initiative gives female founders priority access to the show, allowing them to pitch directly to investors and gain mentorship, funding, and national visibility ahead of the general audition process.

Who Can Apply

The application window opened on July 1, 2026, and will close on July 7, 2026. Selected women applicants will skip the usual preliminary rounds and move straight into the evaluation process, addressing the gap in early-stage funding for women-led startups.

To launch this new allocation channel, L’Oréal Paris joined hands with Shark Tank India for a joint media campaign on Sony LIV. The campaign talks about the everyday hurdles women face social expectations, fear of risk, and lack of support which often stop them from getting proper market value or growing small businesses.

Through this partnership, the two brands aim to reach women entrepreneurs in towns and cities, encouraging them to register formally and connect with the wider venture capital network.

Why This Partnership

The campaign, designed by WPP Media, highlights challenges faced by women in business and encourages participation from both urban and regional entrepreneurs. The collaboration reflects a growing trend where consumer brands support access to funding opportunities, especially for financially independent women in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.

This initiative brings together entertainment media and corporate funding with a clear purpose — to change the type of applicants entering the formal startup system. By opening targeted access points, the organizers hope to see more female led business models that can grow at scale featured in national broadcasts. These examples then serve as practical case studies for regional banks, incubators, and private equity funds.

“Future of entrepreneurship will depend on making opportunities easier for women who want to build and grow successful businesses. This collaboration gives women founders early entry into one of India’s most well known startup platforms, along with chances for mentorship, investment, and national visibility,” the management team said during the joint announcement.

What is Timeline

The seven-day window is expected to bring in a large number of applications. While the show provides visibility, long-term success will depend on how these startups manage supply chains, unit economics, and investor negotiations. The production team noted that this track supports the goal of diversifying India’s startup ecosystem by bringing in talent from areas like sustainable commerce, consumer tech, and local manufacturing.

“This initiative reinforces the belief that every woman can confidently say, ‘I’m Worth It.’ Through this partnership, meaningful pathways are being created for women founders to transform their ideas into thriving businesses,” company representatives said.
