Amazon Web Services (AWS) has chosen seven Indian startups specializing in generative AI for its Global Generative AI Accelerator program. Among 80 companies selected worldwide, the Indian startups—Convrse, House of Models, Neural Garage, Orbo.ai, Phot.ai, Unscript AI, and Zocket—represent some of the most promising AI-driven businesses in the country. This selection showcases India’s growing influence in the global AI industry, especially with the highest number of startups selected from any Asia-Pacific country.

Support and Resources for Growth

The selected startups will benefit from up to $1 million in AWS credits, which will aid in developing, testing, and deploying their AI solutions. They will have access to AWS tools like Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock, as well as other essential services, including compute, storage, and database technologies. Additionally, AWS will provide access to specialized AI chips like AWS Trainium and AWS Inferentia2.

Beyond the technical resources, these startups will receive tailored mentorship from AWS business and technical experts to help them scale their AI solutions globally. This support aims to boost their global reach by leveraging AWS’s infrastructure and expertise.

According to Amitabh Nagpal, Head of Startup Business Development at AWS India, “Our $230 million commitment and the global expansion of the generative AI accelerator reflect our dedication to helping startups develop, build, and scale their unique ideas using generative AI.”
