Yotta Data Services, in partnership with nasscom AI and Telangana AI Mission, has introduced the Shambho Accelerator Program, a groundbreaking initiative to support over 3,600 Indian deeptech startups. This program provides startups with access to advanced AI and cloud infrastructure, technical support, and mentorship, helping them innovate and develop new solutions in Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud computing, data science, and high-performance computing (HPC).

Yotta Shambho Accelerator Program

The first group of startups to join the program will be selected from nasscom’s GenAI Foundry, a platform that identifies and nurtures promising AI startups. These startups will gain access to Shakti Cloud, India’s fastest AI-HPC supercomputer, with credits of up to $200,000. This will allow them to scale and accelerate their AI solutions with the necessary computing power.

Sunil Gupta, co-founder & CEO of Yotta Data Services, highlighted India’s growing tech-startup ecosystem, calling it a key driver towards the nation’s goal of achieving a $5 trillion economy. He emphasized that the Shambho Accelerator Program aims to democratize access to supercomputing and hyperscale cloud technology for startups, ensuring they have the resources to thrive in the competitive AI space.

Deeptech Startups on the Rise

The initiative comes as deeptech startups in India experience rapid growth, with over 70% of them adopting cutting-edge technologies like AI, Blockchain, IoT, and Robotics. The Shambho Accelerator Program, powered by Yotta’s infrastructure, is positioned to meet the needs of this expanding sector by enabling startups to transform their ideas into scalable, market-ready products.

At the core of this program is Yotta’s Shakti Cloud, a high-performance computing platform powered by NVIDIA’s H100 Tensor Core GPUs, designed specifically for AI and HPC workloads. The participating startups will benefit from GPU-as-a-service, allowing efficient and agile development of AI products. Access to these advanced computing resources addresses one of the biggest challenges for startups—gaining access to world-class computing power.

Driving AI Innovation

Sangeeta Gupta, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at nasscom, noted that with the evolution of Generative AI, enterprises and startups must invest in the right strategic infrastructure. She believes that programs like Shambho will bolster India’s AI innovation and encourage the development of cutting-edge solutions in Cloud, AI, data science, and high-performance computing.

In addition to technical resources, Yotta and its partners will provide startups with tailored mentorship. These sessions will focus on helping startups with technical development, business strategy, and scaling operations. Startups will also have opportunities to network with industry experts, investors, and potential customers through Yotta’s ecosystem, further accelerating their growth and innovation.
