Abyom is India’s first spacetech company building reusable rockets and cryogenic engines for affordable, rapid multi-launch missions.
Founded by Jainul Abedin (CEO), Abyom is pioneering reusable launch vehicles (RLVs) with re-ignitable and throttleable cryogenic engines. Its offerings include: Orbital & Suborbital Launches for satellites and micro-constellations, Tactical Defence Missions deploying defence satellites into GEO, Microgravity Experiments above the Kármán line for life sciences and material research, Meteorological Missions for advanced weather modelling, and Rocket Engine Test Facility (CTF) for static fire and performance validation. In May 2026, Abyom successfully completed India’s first fully in-house reusable liquid rocket engine qualification test, marking a milestone in indigenous propulsion technology. This strengthens India’s dual-use defence capabilities and reduces reliance on foreign propulsion systems.
