Aman Gupta Invests in FIG Living Through SailThru Ventures

Aman Gupta FIG Living

Entrepreneur and investor Aman Gupta has invested in home and living brand FIG Living through his investment firm SailThru Ventures, as the young company looks to expand its product range and distribution network across India.

The investment also brings Gupta together with FIG Living founder Sushant Sharma, who previously worked with him at consumer electronics brand boAt. FIG Living was founded in 2025 and started with a focused range of lighting products before moving into other home categories.

Mumbai-based brand currently has an annual revenue run rate of around Rs 12 crore and serves more than 40,000 consumers. It is growing at about 20% quarter-on-quarter and is targeting a revenue run rate of Rs 18 crore after the upcoming festive season.

Product Range

FIG Living entered the market with products such as table lamps, portable lamps, pendant lights, wall lights and floor lamps. Its catalogue has since widened to include side tables, accent furniture and tabletop products.

The startup develops its products internally and says it has secured more than 36 design patents. Around 80% of its range follows knock-down and DIY formats, meaning customers can assemble the products at home.

The company says the approach also helps lower transportation costs and makes handling and distribution simpler. Its products are manufactured in India through an affiliated facility located in Greater Noida.

Builds Home Brand

The new investment is expected to support the next phase of FIG Living growth. The company plans to widen its distribution network and add more physical consumer touchpoints, alongside its existing sales channels.

FIG Living is also looking at international design partnerships and collaborations as it develops its brand. While lighting remains a major part of its business, the startup plans to enter additional home and lifestyle categories.

The expansion comes at a time when newer consumer brands are increasingly moving beyond one product category. For FIG Living, the strategy involves building a wider home and living range rather than remaining focused only on lighting.

FIG Living Growth

The company is targeting Rs 18 crore in annual revenue run rate after the festive season, compared with the current level of around Rs 12 crore. Its reported quarter-on-quarter growth rate stands at about 20%.

Its consumer base has crossed 40,000, giving the brand an existing customer pool as it adds products and expands distribution. However, the next stage will require FIG Living to maintain its growth while managing a broader product portfolio and wider retail presence.

The company is also using product design as a key part of its positioning. Its in-house development process and design patents form part of the strategy to differentiate its products in the crowded home and lifestyle market.

About Aman Gupta

Aman Gupta is the co-founder of consumer electronics brand boAt, which he started with Sameer Mehta. The business was built around affordable and design-focused audio products and later expanded into categories such as smartwatches and other electronic accessories. boAt began its journey in the mid-2010s and initially relied heavily on online marketplaces and digital marketing before developing a broader omnichannel presence.

Before boAt, Aman worked in finance and later gained experience in consumer electronics and distribution. He has spoken about the early challenges of building boAt, including investor doubts around the online consumer electronics opportunity. In the initial years, the founders focused on keeping the business lean while using marketplace distribution to reach customers.

Aman later became widely recognised as an investor and television personality through Shark Tank India. His investment activity now extends beyond boAt, including through SailThru Ventures, which has backed consumer-focused businesses such as FIG Living.
