Yotta Data Services, a digital transformation service provider, appointed Anil Pawar as the Chief AI Officer and Head of their AI Cloud Business Unit. Pawar will report to Sunil Gupta, the Co-founder, Managing Director, and CEO of Yotta Data Services.
His role will involve leading strategic initiatives in the AI Cloud Business Unit, focusing on using AI, cloud, and platform technologies to drive innovation and offer significant value to customers.
Sunil Gupta expressed optimism about Pawar’s appointment, stating, “Together, we hope to not just drive growth in the Shakti AI Cloud Business Unit, but also reinforce our commitment towards enabling a truly digital Bharat.”
Pawar will be responsible for several strategic initiatives within the Shakti Cloud Business Unit. These include AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS), AI Platform-as-a-Service (AIPaaS), AI Software-as-a-Service (AISaaS), and managing the Large Language Model (LLM) marketplace.
He expressed enthusiasm for his new role, saying, “I look forward to working with the talented team at Yotta to deliver cutting-edge solutions and drive growth in the Shakti AI Cloud Business Unit while continuing to help Yotta engineer locally and deliver globally.”
Shakti Cloud, powered by the world’s fastest NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs, is India’s largest and fastest AI-HPC (High-Performance Computing) supercomputer. This advanced technology is expected to significantly enhance Yotta’s capabilities in delivering high-performance AI solutions.
Yotta, part of the Hiranandani Group, operates cloud regions at its hyperscale data center parks in Panvel (Navi Mumbai) and Greater Noida (Delhi-NCR). Yotta’s Cloud services are also empanelled by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), which adds an extra layer of credibility to their operations.
With Pawar’s expertise and leadership, Yotta Data Services aims to advance its AI initiatives and strengthen its position in the digital transformation landscape. This move is anticipated to bring substantial growth and innovation, benefiting both the company and its clients.
