Swiggy Introduces Incognito Mode for Private Food and Instamart Orders

Share post:

Swiggy, a popular food delivery platform, has introduced a new feature called Incognito Mode, aimed at providing users with a more private ordering experience. The new mode is especially helpful for those who want to keep their purchases discreet, such as planning surprises, indulging in personal treats, or making confidential purchases from Swiggy Instamart. This feature allows users to hide specific orders from their order history.

How Does It Work?

Activating Swiggy Incognito Mode is simple. Users can toggle the mode on directly from their cart while placing an order. Once turned on, a reminder will appear confirming that Incognito Mode is active. The mode allows users to track their orders for up to three hours after delivery in case of any post-delivery issues. After this tracking period, the order details will automatically disappear from the app’s history, ensuring complete privacy.

Swiggy has launched this feature for 10% of its users initially, with plans to roll it out for all users soon.

As social as our lives are becoming, there are still things we prefer to keep private, and Incognito Mode is designed to address that need.
