Blinkit Launches 10-Minute Passport Photo Delivery in Delhi and Gurugram

Share post:

Zomato-owned Blinkit, known for delivering groceries and essentials in just 10-15 minutes, has expanded its services by introducing a 10-minute passport photo delivery in Delhi and Gurugram.

Quick Passport Photos at Your Doorstep

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa announced this new service, highlighting its convenience for users who need passport-sized photos for visa applications, admit cards, rent agreements, or any other last-minute documentation. “Starting today, Blinkit customers in Delhi and Gurugram can get passport photos delivered in just 10 minutes!” Dhindsa shared.

This service is currently available in Delhi and Gurugram, but Dhindsa mentioned that Blinkit plans to gradually expand it to other cities across India.

How Does It Work?

Dhindsa explained the simple process for using Blinkit’s new service. Users can either upload an existing photo or take a new one using their phone. Blinkit’s system automatically edits the photo by removing the background and adjusting it to the required size.

Customers can then choose from options of 8, 16, or 32 passport-sized prints, which will be delivered in a neatly packaged envelope within 10 minutes.

Positive Response from Social Media Users

Blinkit’s new service has been well-received by social media users, with many expressing their appreciation for the quick and convenient option. One user praised the service, saying, “Blinkit is a lifeline in Gurgaon. I cannot imagine my day without it.”

However, some users raised questions about whether the service would be suitable for visa photos, which sometimes have specific requirements like biometric photos. Another user asked, “Why not in Bangalore? And would this have different dimensions for different visas? Great idea, I would say.”

Expanding to More Cities Soon

Dhindsa expressed excitement about the launch of this new service and is eager to hear customer feedback to make it even better. He assured users that Blinkit plans to scale this service to all the cities they currently serve.

Blinkit’s latest innovation in passport photo delivery is set to make life easier for users in Delhi and Gurugram. As the company continues to expand this service to more cities, it could become an essential tool for anyone needing quick and convenient passport photos.
