Bikanervala, in partnership with The Montana Group, has opened its second outlet in Bathinda. Located in Park Panorama Colony, this new launch is an important step for Bikanervala as it continues to expand its presence and share India’s rich food traditions.

Bikanervala Celebrating Indian Cuisine

The new Bathinda outlet will offer a variety of Indian sweets, snacks, and dishes in a quick-service restaurant (QSR) format, bringing traditional flavors to the community. The Montana Group, which is working closely with Bikanervala, emphasized that this move aligns with their mission to showcase Indian culinary heritage to the world.

Manoj Madhukar, Founder of The Montana Group, shared that their goal is to promote Indian flavors globally through their unique approach called ‘Reverse Food Drainage’. “We are blending tradition with modern innovation and using the world’s growing interest in Indian cuisine as a way to connect cultures,” he said. Madhukar highlighted the company’s dedication to giving Indian heritage brands opportunities to expand and become recognized worldwide.

The Montana Group Plans

Monty Singh, also a founder of The Montana Group, mentioned that they want to bring young people from around the world on a journey that celebrates India’s food traditions. “Like how global brands such as McDonald’s and KFC add Indian touches to their menus, we want people to enjoy Indian culture through our food,” Singh explained. He added that they have ambitious plans to grow internationally, especially in the UK, to share authentic Indian dishes with new audiences.

The Montana Group is planning to open more than 25 new outlets in 2024-2025, both in India and abroad. The group already has a strong base in northern India and is quickly expanding into other regions.

Bikanervala’s Global Reach

Founded in 1905, Bikanervala operates over 200 outlets in India and has expanded to various countries, including the USA, Canada, the UAE, Qatar, New Zealand, Singapore, and Nepal.

Suresh Goel, CEO of Bikanervala Foods Pvt. Ltd, said the new Bathinda outlet reflects the shared vision between Bikanervala and The Montana Group to make Indian flavors known globally and highlight the essence of India’s food heritage.
