Medial Raises $500K Funding to Empower Startup Networking

Share post:

Medial, a professional networking platform tailored for the startup ecosystem, has successfully raised $500,000 in a pre-Series A funding round. The funding was led by Ortella Global Capital, a venture co-founded by Rajvardhan Mohite, a seasoned entrepreneur, and Sayan Ghosh, a former IFC executive.

Fast Growth Since Launch

Medial has experienced rapid growth since its alpha launch. Within just a few months, the platform has built a strong community of over 100,000 entrepreneurs, tech professionals, and startup enthusiasts. It also boasts more than 10,000 daily active users, showcasing its relevance and utility in the startup ecosystem.

Niket Raj Dwivedi, the founder and CEO of Medial, highlighted the platform’s unique approach. “Many professionals in the tech and startup world deal with fragmented solutions on multiple platforms. Medial offers everything in one place—learning, collaboration, and meaningful discussions,” he said.

What Sets Medial Apart?

Medial provides an all-in-one solution for startup professionals by integrating news, networking, and idea validation in one platform. It features a curated news feed for real-time updates, a social feed for engaging discussions, and a “Startup Showcase” where users can pitch ideas, validate them with the community, and receive actionable feedback.

The platform eliminates the need for users to juggle multiple apps, creating a streamlined and efficient experience.

Platform for Collaboration

Medial positions itself as a hub for startup news, industry updates, and transparent workplace discussions. Unlike platforms that focus on viral content, Medial prioritizes valuable and meaningful engagement.

The startup was co-founded by a dynamic team including Niket Raj Dwivedi, Aishwarya Raj Pandey, Prateek Kaien, and Harsh Dwivedi, who are committed to fostering collaboration in the tech and startup sectors.

With its latest funding, Medial is set to expand its offerings and grow its user base further. By simplifying networking and enabling transparent discussions, Medial aims to become an essential tool for the global startup ecosystem.
