indē wild, a fast-growing beauty brand that blends Ayurvedic traditions with modern science, has raised $5 million in funding to expand its presence in international markets. The funding round was led by Unilever Ventures, with continued support from existing investors SoGal Ventures and True.

This new capital will help indē wild strengthen its partnership with Sephora UK and prepare for its Sephora US launch, marking a major step in the brand’s global journey.

Ayurveda Meets Modern Science

Founded in 2021 by Diipa Büller-Khosla and Oleg Büller-Khosla, indē wild follows a unique approach called Ayurvedistry, which combines Ayurvedic ingredients with scientific research to create effective beauty products. The brand has gained rapid popularity, especially in markets like India, the US, and the UK.

indē wild has already achieved remarkable success with its products. The brand’s Champi Hair Oil became the #1 bestseller on Nykaa, surpassing popular global brands like Olaplex and L’Oréal. This success highlights the growing demand for Ayurveda-based haircare solutions.

Additionally, the brand has developed high-performance skincare products such as:

  • Dewy Lip Treatment – A nourishing lip care solution
  • SPF Rose Sun Mist Spray – A lightweight sun protection spray

These products have helped indē wild sell over one unit per minute within just 18 months of its launch on platforms like Nykaa and its direct-to-consumer (DTC) website.

400% Revenue Growth

The brand’s success has been reflected in its financial growth, with 400% revenue increase and double-digit profit margins in select periods. indē wild’s ability to maintain EBITDA profitability shows its strong position in the clean beauty market.

With this new funding, indē wild plans to expand faster with the support of Unilever Ventures. Rachel Harris, Partner at Unilever Ventures, expressed excitement about this collaboration, “By blending Ayurveda with modern science, indē wild is redefining holistic beauty for today’s consumers. We are thrilled to partner with Diipa and Oleg on this next phase of growth.”

To further strengthen its operations, indē wild has appointed Archit Vijoy as its new Finance Director. Previously, he served as the financial advisor for this funding round, and his expertise will help the brand in its next growth phase.

With $5 million in new funding, a strong retail presence in Sephora, and a growing global customer base, indē wild is set to make Ayurvedic beauty products more accessible worldwide. As it continues to blend tradition with innovation, indē wild is becoming a leading name in modern Ayurvedic beauty solutions.
