GoodLives, an AI-powered platform for mental health and wellness, has secured Rs 1.1 crore in pre-seed funding. The investment was led by IIM Lucknow, Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), and industry experts Anupreet Singh, Deepak Motwani, and Abhishek Hota, along with Build3, a renowned social impact accelerator.
The funds will help GoodLives enhance its offerings and expand its reach in India and the USA, transforming how mental health is approached in workplaces.
Platform for Mental Health
Founded by IIT Kharagpur alumni Sakshi Shah and Lawrance Bamania, GoodLives focuses on improving access to personalized mental health care. The platform combines AI-powered self-help tools with expert-led therapies to support mental well-being.
GoodLives has already educated over 5 million people on mental health awareness and aims to make mental wellness an essential part of workplace culture. “Mental health is not just a personal mission for us; it’s a necessity for society,” said co-founder Lawrance Bamania.
Purpose of Funding
The funds raised will be used to improve GoodLives’ platform features, making its tools more effective and accessible. The startup also plans to expand into new markets to address the growing need for workplace mental health solutions.
“This investment highlights the importance of mental health in corporate culture. It gives us the resources to expand and create meaningful change at scale,” said Sakshi Shah, co-founder of GoodLives.
Supporting Mental Health
GoodLives aims to bridge the gap between professional therapy and everyday mental well-being. Its platform uses AI to offer personalized exercises and expert advice, making mental health care approachable for employees in any industry.
By promoting mental health as a crucial aspect of workplace culture, GoodLives hopes to improve overall well-being for employees, ensuring mental health support is as commonplace as physical health initiatives.
Global Impact
With this funding, GoodLives is poised to extend its impact globally, offering innovative solutions that prioritize mental wellness in workplaces across India and the USA. This marks a significant step toward normalizing mental health care in corporate settings.
