Akshat Rathee Makes $3 Mn Investment in Hospitality Sector

Share post:

Akshat Rathee, well known as the Co-founder and Managing Director of Nodwin Gaming, has taken a major step in the hospitality sector, one of his better moves outside the gaming industry. He has entered into a strategic partnership with Abhishek Mathur, the CEO of Good Game Investment, to support an ambitious plan in the hospitality and entertainment space. With an initial investment of USD 3 million, the two aim to transform dining and entertainment experiences in India.

Abhishek Mathur is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience across the legal, finance, and hospitality sectors. He has led Good Game Investment through impressive growth of over 400% in the last three years. Today, the company’s assets are valued at over Rs 500 crore. Mathur is also the co-founder of Covah, a Mediterranean-Asian dining concept that has introduced a new standard in premium food experiences in India.

Strong Vision for Dining & Entertainment

Rathee expressed strong confidence in Mathur’s leadership and vision, noting that Mathur’s ability to scale successful ventures in hospitality is the foundation for their joint mission. Rathee brings his own experience in building scalable entertainment platforms, and together they plan to create unique and immersive hospitality offerings. They believe their partnership will redefine how Indian consumers enjoy food and entertainment.

As part of the initial expansion plan, three new high-end dining and entertainment ventures will be launched in the National Capital Region (NCR) by mid-2025. After establishing a strong presence in NCR, the brand plans to move into Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad. These upcoming venues will combine exceptional food with entertainment-driven environments, creating unforgettable experiences designed for India’s modern urban crowd.

Support From High-Profile Investors

The new venture has also attracted support from well-known investors such as cricketer Suresh Raina and other high-net-worth individuals. Their backing adds further credibility to the project and underlines the strong market potential for this kind of premium hospitality initiative.

With Akshat Rathee’s entertainment background and Abhishek Mathur’s deep knowledge in hospitality, the new venture is poised to raise the bar in India’s dining and leisure sector. Their shared goal is to offer quality-driven, innovative hospitality services that deliver luxury and comfort in equal measure.

This collaboration between a gaming pioneer and a hospitality expert highlights a new wave of business partnerships in India. With strong funding, strategic leadership, and a passion for quality experiences, the venture aims to set a new benchmark in the country’s evolving hospitality landscape.
