Ascendion’s GenAI Studio in Chennai

Digital engineering services provider Ascendion has launched its first GenAI Studio in Chennai, now they have to fulfill the project demand with plans to hire 180 freshers from colleges across the city. The New Indian Express reports that the US-based firm aims to expand its headcount in the coming years significantly. CEO Karthik Krishnamurthy emphasized the importance of AI in transforming lives, stating, “The focus is on AI impacting lives,” and highlighting that engineers are being trained to also become consumers of AI.


Technology Centre in Hyderabad

Meanwhile, fintech company CASHe has established a new technology excellence centre in Hyderabad and is set to onboard 300 professionals across various experience levels. These roles span domains such as technology, data science, and machine learning. This move underscores CASHe’s commitment to leveraging advanced technologies to drive innovation and growth.

Expanding Job Market for Freshers

The increasing number of global capability centres across India is creating a wealth of job opportunities for early career professionals. According to The Economic Times, there is a growing demand for tech roles in AI/machine learning, data analytics, cybersecurity, full stack and UI/UX development, and cloud computing/blockchain.

Tech Mahindra, for instance, has announced plans to hire 6,000 freshers in FY25, while HCLTech aims to onboard 10,000 young graduates in the same period, as reported by Moneycontrol. These developments highlight the robust demand for new talent in the tech industry.

With digital engineering and fintech firms like Ascendion and CASHe actively recruiting freshers, and other tech giants expanding their hiring efforts, the job market for early career professionals is looking increasingly promising.
