Fintech company Infibeam Avenues has launched an advanced and affordable Point of Sale (POS) device called the CCAvenue SoundBox Max. This innovative device is designed to revolutionize how merchants across India handle payments, offering a comprehensive solution that extends beyond traditional methods. The launch took place at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2024 in Mumbai, showcasing Infibeam’s commitment to enhancing the payment experience for retailers and merchants.

The CCAvenue SoundBox Max isn’t just another payment device—it’s a response to the specific needs of the market. Infibeam Avenues recognized that merchants and retailers required a device that could support more than just UPI payments. The SoundBox Max addresses this need by incorporating debit and credit card payment options alongside UPI QR codes. This allows merchants to accept a wide range of payments, making it a versatile tool for businesses of all sizes.

Key Features Enhancing Retail Operations
The CCAvenue SoundBox Max is packed with features that make transactions both simple and secure. It supports static and dynamic QR payments, contactless payments, and chip-based credit and debit card transactions. One of its standout features is the built-in SoundBox, which audibly confirms successful transactions in multiple languages, catering to diverse retail environments.
Additionally, the device is equipped with a large front-facing display that shows order amounts and transaction statuses. The rear display and keypad make it easy to enter transaction details and card PINs. The device also boasts long battery life and quick C-Type charging, ensuring it remains reliable throughout the day.
Future Enhancements and Compliance
Infibeam Avenues is planning to further enhance the capabilities of the CCAvenue SoundBox Max by adding value-added features such as Card EMI and Brand EMI options. These features will cater to various retail sectors, including supermarkets, quick-service restaurants, salons, and fashion boutiques. The device is also compliant with international standards like EMV L1, L2, PCI PTS, CE, FCC, and RoHS, ensuring it meets global safety and quality requirements.
The company has partnered with key players, including Karnataka Bank, ICICI Bank, ShopSe, Citibank India, PayMyTV, Cars24, Muthoot FinCorp ONE, Loylty Rewardz, Society on Click, Chalo App, and BHIM, to provide cutting-edge solutions that further enhance the payment ecosystem in India.
