Mumbai-based B2B e-commerce platform Bizongo has announced significant changes to its leadership team, aimed at expanding its two core business units: BizongoBuy and BizongoFin. The company has appointed new CEOs, a Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO), and a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its growth strategy, which focuses on delivering e-commerce and financial solutions tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in India.

Bizongo New Leadership

As part of the company’s restructuring, BizongoBuy, a marketplace for raw materials, and BizongoFin, an embedded supply chain finance platform, will now function as separate business verticals with their own leadership.

Prahlad Krishnamurthi, a former executive at Cleartrip, has been named CEO of BizongoBuy. With over 20 years of experience leading high-growth companies, Krishnamurthi’s goal is to improve the availability and cost-effectiveness of raw material sourcing for Indian SMEs.

Bizongo appoints new leadership

For the finance platform BizongoFin, Kiran Dev, an ex-banker with over 19 years of experience, has taken on the role of CEO. Dev’s leadership is expected to address the $300 billion unmet credit needs of SMEs by introducing flow-based embedded financing solutions.

Finance and Technology

In addition to these appointments, Bizongo has added expertise in the finance and technology sectors. Gaurav Singhania, with over 20 years of experience working for companies like American Express and LendingKart, has joined as CFO. Singhania’s focus will be on improving Bizongo’s financial management as the company prepares for an IPO.

Amol Wanjari, formerly of Amazon and Acko, has been appointed CTPO. He will lead efforts to create a seamless, e-commerce-like experience for SMEs, helping to make Bizongo’s digital platforms more efficient and user-friendly for businesses.

B2B E-Commerce Market

Sachin Agrawal, Co-founder and CEO of Bizongo, highlighted the importance of these appointments in driving the company’s growth. Agrawal stated, “The market opportunity in Indian B2B e-commerce is rapidly expanding—fueling growth across commerce, financing, and logistics. With the addition of Kiran, Prahlad, Gaurav, and Amol, we are bringing in leaders with diverse skill sets that will contribute to Bizongo’s vision of making ‘Business On the Go’ a reality.”

With its new leadership team, Bizongo is poised to enhance its services for SMEs and tap into India’s booming B2B e-commerce market.
