Hero MotoCorp Joins ONDC Network, Pioneers Auto Industry Digitization

In a significant move aligning with the Digital India mission, Hero MotoCorp, a leading two-wheeler manufacturer, announced its partnership with the government’s Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) Network. This collaboration marks Hero MotoCorp as the first automotive company in India to join the network, aiming to enhance accessibility and convenience for consumers through digital channels.

Hero MotoCorp’s CEO, Niranjan Gupta, emphasized the company’s commitment to advancing the Digital India initiative by pioneering the automotive taxonomy within the ONDC Network. This move aims to simplify the process for customers to locate vehicle parts and accessories seamlessly.

By leveraging the ONDC platform, the company aims to provide a user-friendly digital interface for consumers to access genuine Hero MotoCorp parts effortlessly.

Consumer Experience Enhancement

Initially, the ONDC Network will feature a range of two-wheeler parts, accessories, and merchandise. Consumers can conveniently explore Hero MotoCorp’s genuine products through various buyer apps integrated with the ONDC Network, including Paytm and Mystore. This initiative is expected to streamline the purchasing process for over 115 million Hero MotoCorp customers, offering them a renewed and hassle-free shopping experience.
