Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has emerged as Gurugram’s second-richest individual, according to the Hurun India Rich List 2024. Goyal, with a net worth of Rs 9,300 crore, is part of an exclusive group of 23 individuals in Gurugram who have fortunes exceeding Rs 1,000 crore.
Nirmal Kumar Minda: Most Richest
Despite his impressive wealth, Goyal is not the wealthiest person in Gurugram. That title goes to Nirmal Kumar Minda, chairman and managing director of UNO Minda. With a net worth of Rs 30,800 crore (about $3.6 billion), Minda is the richest resident of the city. His fortune places him 91st on the list of India’s wealthiest individuals.
Top Entrepreneurs in Gurugram
Following Goyal in Gurugram’s wealth rankings are Ghazal and Varun Alagh, co-founders of the popular skincare brand Mamaearth. Together, they hold a net worth of Rs 5,900 crore. Next in line is Jyoti Bhatia of IndiGo, with Rs 4,500 crore. Ravinder Kumar, associated with Gawar Construction, holds the fifth spot with Rs 4,300 crore.
Other Notable Wealthy Individuals
Gaurav Bhatnagar from TBO TEK ranks sixth with Rs 3,800 crore. He is followed by Lalit Agarwal and his family from V-Mart Retail, along with Iskander A Lalljee of Sud Chemie India, both with a fortune of Rs 3,300 crore. Daljit Singh of Amber Enterprises ranks next, holding Rs 2,900 crore, while Rakesh Malhotra and his family from Luminous Power Technologies have Rs 2,800 crore.
Dharminder Nagar of Paras Healthcare and Mobikwik co-founders Bipin Preet Singh and Upasana Taku also feature in the list, each with Rs 2,400 crore. Urban Company co-founder Abhiraj Singh Bhal follows closely with Rs 2,200 crore.

Other notable names include Naresh Kumar and his family from NKC Projects, who hold Rs 2,100 crore. Vijay Kumar Thadani and family from NIIT and Sumant Sinha from ReNew Power both round up the list with a net worth of Rs 1,600 crore.
