AI Firm Glean Technologies Opens New Office in Bengaluru

Glean Technologies, an enterprise AI platform based in California, has inaugurated its first office in Bengaluru, India. Spanning 26,000 square feet, this new facility will serve as the central hub for Glean’s operations in the country, encompassing functions such as finance, sales, research and development (R&D), and business operations.

Strategic Move to Serve Indian Market

The launch of the Bengaluru office marks a strategic move for Glean Technologies to cater not only to the Indian market but also to bolster its global presence. Arvind Jain, Founder and CEO of Glean Technologies, expressed enthusiasm about establishing their footprint in Bengaluru, often referred to as the Silicon Valley of India. He highlighted the office’s role in fostering collaboration with Indian enterprises to optimize their knowledge management using Glean’s advanced AI platform.

Focus on Research and Development

With plans to triple its workforce from 150 to over 450 employees by next year, Glean Technologies is set to expand significantly in Bengaluru, particularly in R&D. The company intends to concentrate its cutting-edge AI initiatives at this new location, leveraging Bengaluru’s talent pool and conducive environment for technological innovation.

Financial and Operational Growth

Having secured over $350 million in funding from leading venture capital firms and valued at more than $2.2 billion, Glean Technologies boasts an impressive Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth rate of 300% year-on-year. The company’s expansion in Bengaluru underscores its commitment to enhancing AI capabilities and serving a growing client base across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Glean Technologies collaborates with prominent enterprise firms in APAC, including a major Southeast Asian commercial bank, a global electronics and entertainment giant, and a renowned automotive manufacturer. Arvind Jain emphasized the transformative potential of their AI platform, envisioning a future where AI technologies go beyond information retrieval to actively assist and enhance human productivity.
