AbCoffee, a fast-growing specialty coffee brand in India, has appointed Rohit Tiwari as its President of Operations. This strategic move signals the brand’s focus on accelerating its growth and strengthening its operations as it expands across the country.

Rohit Tiwari brings over 15 years of experience in scaling businesses and leading customer-focused operations. His career highlights include senior roles at Airtel, OYO, and PrepLadder. At Airtel Payments Bank, he expanded the distribution network to over 600,000 touchpoints, showcasing his expertise in driving customer acquisition and network growth.

During his time at OYO as Director of Global PMO, Tiwari played a key role in building efficient operational teams and improving service standards. At PrepLadder, he led business strategies that contributed to the company’s growth as a leading edtech platform.

AbCoffee Journey and Vision

Founded in 2022 by entrepreneur Abhijeet Anand, AbCoffee has quickly become a disruptor in India’s coffee market. The brand specializes in grab-and-go coffee, with 77 small-format stores currently operating in cities like Mumbai and Bengaluru. Known for its focus on convenience and quality, AbCoffee has carved a niche in the specialty coffee segment.

In March 2024, the company secured $3.4 million in Series A funding from Nexus Venture Partners and Tanglin Venture Partners. With ambitious plans to open 10,000 outlets across India in the next decade, AbCoffee aims to make its mark as a leader in the coffee industry.

Tiwari’s appointment marks a significant step in AbCoffee’s journey. His vast experience aligns with the company’s strategy to expand its reach and improve operational efficiency. According to the brand, Tiwari will focus on scaling operations, enhancing customer experiences, and driving innovation in technology-powered solutions.
