Roshni Nadar Malhotra, the chairperson of HCL Technologies, has made history by becoming the first Indian woman to be listed among the top 10 richest women in the world. According to the Hurun Global Rich List 2025, Roshni is now ranked fifth, with a net worth of around Rs 3.5 lakh crore. Roshni Nadar Makes History
Shiv Nadar, one of India’s most successful business leaders, transferred nearly 47% of his stake in HCL Corporation and Vama Sundari Investments to Roshni as part of a planned succession strategy. This transfer gives her control over a 44.17% voting stake in Vama Delhi and a 0.17% voting stake in HCL Technologies.
Roshni has held the position of chairperson of HCL Technologies since July 2020. She also plays a key role in managing the Shiv Nadar Foundation, which has set up several top educational institutions in India.
