Turbostart, a global venture capital platform, has invested $1 million in Ai Health Highway, a health-tech startup, during its pre-Series A funding round. This investment is part of a larger $1.5 million round, with other key contributors including Rainmatter by Zerodha, The Chennai Angels, and BITS BioCyTiH Foundation, along with several angel investors. The funding will help Ai Health Highway grow its presence in India and speed up its global regulatory approvals.

AI Flagship Product

Ai Health Highway is best known for its innovative product, AiSteth, India’s first AI-powered stethoscope. This smart stethoscope is revolutionizing cardiac care by helping healthcare professionals and non-specialists detect heart issues early.

AiSteth works by using artificial intelligence (AI) and signal processing technology to upgrade traditional stethoscopes. This allows doctors and healthcare providers to analyze heart sounds more accurately, making it easier to detect life-threatening conditions. With AiSteth, doctors can make better clinical decisions and possibly save lives through early diagnosis.

Access to Healthcare

The AiSteth stethoscope is designed to fit easily into current medical practices. It captures high-quality heart sounds, analyzes them, and allows healthcare professionals to share the data quickly. This tool is especially valuable in making healthcare more affordable and accessible, particularly in underserved areas.

Ai Health Highway for Healthcare Innovation

Ai Health Highway’s larger goal is to reduce global deaths caused by non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as heart disease and respiratory issues. NCDs are responsible for over 41 million deaths annually. The company aims to reduce these deaths by 30% by 2030, focusing on early detection and timely interventions.

Leadership Insights

Venkat Raju, the Founder and CEO of Turbostart, expressed excitement about the investment. He praised Ai Health Highway’s mission to make healthcare more accessible with their smart stethoscope technology, which has the potential to reach underserved communities. He believes this innovation could significantly improve early disease detection.

Dr. (Maj) Satish S Jeevannavar, the Founder of Ai Health Highway, shared his enthusiasm for partnering with Turbostart. He highlighted how the expertise of Turbostart’s team will help them navigate the global healthcare system, enhancing their ability to combat NCDs.

Step Toward Better Healthcare

With this new investment, Ai Health Highway is well-positioned to continue its mission of improving global healthcare. The company’s innovative AI-based solutions like AiSteth are set to make a real difference in reducing preventable deaths from non-communicable diseases, especially in areas that need better access to medical care.
