Gupshup, a leading global conversational engagement platform, has named Salim Ali as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). With nearly three decades of experience, Salim will lead the company’s marketing initiatives to support its global growth and expansion efforts.
In his previous role as the Chief Marketing Officer at WordPress VIP, Salim oversaw various aspects of marketing, including brand voice, product marketing, demand generation, and customer marketing. His extensive experience in building and scaling business lines at both large enterprises and startups positions him well to drive Gupshup’s marketing strategies forward.
Salim’s appointment comes at a crucial time for Gupshup as it aims to capitalize on the growing demand for direct, contextual, and immediate conversation capabilities among brands worldwide.
