Snabbit Gets $30 Million, Which Markets Are They Targeting Now?

Share post:

Snabbit, an on-demand home services startup, has raised USD 30 million in a Series C funding round. The investment is led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII), with follow-on participation from existing investors Lightspeed, Nexus Venture Partners, and Elevation Capital. The company highlighted that this is its third fundraise within nine months, bringing total capital raised to USD 55 million so far.

The startup claimed that the high investor confidence reflects rapid business growth and the emergence of home services as a fast-scaling consumer category in India.

What is Snabbit?

Snabbit’s platform connects households to trained service professionals for tasks including daily cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, kitchen preparation, and other high-frequency chores. Services are booked by the hour, and experts arrive within minutes, leveraging the company’s hyperlocal network design.

It follows a full-stack model supported by time-based pricing, with the goal of delivering reliable and convenient services tailored for urban living. The platform currently operates across five major Indian cities and is designed to scale further through micro-market expansion.

Leadership Mission

Aayush Agarwal, Founder and CEO of Snabbit, said that the startup is leading one of India’s fastest-growing consumer segments. He stated that the company has scaled from fewer than 1,000 service requests to more than 10,000 jobs a day in under five months. The workforce is being driven by more than 5,000 women professionals whom the company calls “Experts.”

Agarwal added that this funding round ensures strong capital availability for further expansion and supports the company’s mission to uplift workers from informal sectors by creating dignified employment opportunities.

Investors Show Confidence

Bertelsmann India Investments’ Partner, Rohit Sood, said that Snabbit’s model delivers social impact while addressing everyday pain points of Indian households. He added that the company is helping organize a large and underserved informal workforce while providing accessible services.

Investors from Lightspeed also shared optimism about the company’s approach to a category that remains largely unorganized. They noted that Snabbit was an early mover and continues to improve quality and consumer experiences through innovation.

Future Growth Plans

With this fresh funding, the company plans to enter new micro-markets and expand into categories such as cooks, child care, and senior care services. Snabbit also recently shifted its headquarters to Bengaluru to support operational growth and stronger talent hiring.

The company said the new capital will aid deeper presence in existing cities while ensuring scalability to other high-demand urban locations.

Snabbit Competitors

Snabbit operates in a competitive landscape that includes platforms like Urban Company and Housejoy, which also offer home service solutions. However, Snabbit differentiates itself through a women-led network, quicker fulfilment times, and its focus on high-frequency everyday chores, which the company believes unlocks a broader recurring consumer market.
