Creative strategy firm Wit & Chai Group has successfully closed its seed funding round at a valuation of Rs 40 crore. While the exact investment amount remains undisclosed, the company confirmed participation from several marquee investors, including Rohan Vijay Mantri of Mantri Landmarks, Sanjay Katkar of Quickheal Technologies, Monish Darda of Icertis, and Satyen Patel of Sahyadri Industries.
The funding marks a key milestone for the company as it prepares to transform itself from a niche creative studio into a global creative-tech powerhouse.
Wit & Chai Funding
Following the fresh capital infusion, Wit & Chai has outlined a three-step growth strategy. The first focus is on geographic expansion. The company plans to strengthen its Mumbai team, scale operations at its London office, and lay the foundation for a UAE launch.
According to the founders, establishing local presence in global markets will enable faster execution and deeper client relationships across continents.
Services Move Beyond Campaigns
The next stage of growth revolves around diversifying client verticals. Wit & Chai aims to extend its services into B2B SaaS companies and large enterprises, moving beyond conventional brand campaigns.
Instead of acting as a traditional agency, the company plans to create integrated brand experiences that blend digital, physical, and immersive storytelling formats.
Innovation Drives Future
A major part of the company’s strategy is its commitment to intellectual property and acquisitions. Wit & Chai revealed that it is already evaluating potential acquisitions to speed up global expansion.

Parallelly, it is investing in proprietary content formats and AI-powered creative tools, including Microdrama concepts and automated storytelling platforms, aimed at reshaping how brands engage with audiences in a digital-first environment.
Founders Share Vision
Commenting on the milestone, Co-founder Nahush Gulawani said, “This investment is not just capital – it’s fuel for our vision. Our focus now is threefold: entering new global markets, unlocking enterprise-level verticals, and building future-ready IPs that merge AI with creativity. Wit & Chai is on track to become a global creative powerhouse.”
Investor Satyen Patel of Sahyadri Industries added, “Their balance of creativity, technology and strategy is refreshing. Their AI-driven approach will make them a disruptive player in the evolving creative economy.”
Startup Funding in India
The funding of Wit & Chai comes at a time when creative-tech and AI-led content startups are gaining strong interest from investors. With brands demanding faster, data-led storytelling, companies like Wit & Chai are building platform-ready IPs rather than just campaigns.
As India’s startup funding ecosystem matures, more investors are now looking at profitable niche categories such as brand IP development, AI content automation, and experiential storytelling, signalling a new wave of creative entrepreneurship.
