WiseLife Secures Rs 8 Crore for Yoga Wellness Expansion

Share post:

WiseLife, a growing yoga and wellness brand, has raised Rs 8 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Rukam Capital. The brand, known for eco-friendly and stylish yoga mats, aims to use the funding to become India’s top yoga brand, expanding its product lines and community engagement.

Founded by Prateek Kedia, WiseLife focuses on premium wellness products that are both sustainable and affordable. The startup is now preparing to scale its operations and bring more innovation to the fitness and wellness space in India.

Big Plans Ahead

With the new funds, WiseLife plans to enhance product development, grow its content library, and engage deeper with its community. The startup will also expand its presence across multiple sales channels and cities, making its range more widely available.

Prateek Kedia expressed his vision for the brand, stating, “This round will help us move from a boutique brand to a national name in yoga and wellness. We’re excited to keep innovating for fitness lovers.”

Backed by Strong Belief

Rukam Capital’s Founder and Managing Partner, Archana Jahagirdar, praised WiseLife’s mix of function, design, and emotion. She noted that India is on the brink of a wellness revolution, and WiseLife is well-positioned to lead that movement by offering accessible and aspirational wellness solutions.

“WiseLife is building a brand that speaks to the modern Indian who values both wellness and mindful living,” she added, reinforcing Rukam Capital’s excitement to support the company’s next growth chapter.

Growth in a Booming Market

The investment comes at a time when the yoga and wellness market in India is seeing strong growth. As per IMARC Group, the Indian yoga mat market is expected to grow from $1.4 billion in 2024 to $2.2 billion by 2033, driven by rising health awareness, eco-consciousness, and increasing corporate wellness initiatives.

Globally, the yoga mat industry is on track to hit $26.5 billion by 2030, highlighting the demand for sustainable and premium fitness products worldwide. WiseLife aims to tap into both the local and global wave with its innovative offerings.

What is WiseLife?

WiseLife is a wellness and lifestyle startup based in India, founded by Prateek Kedia. The brand offers biodegradable yoga mats, fitness gear, and lifestyle accessories designed to balance style, durability, and sustainability.

The startup gained national fame after a successful pitch on Shark Tank India Season 3, where it received funding from all four sharks, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Ritesh Aggarwal, and Namita Thapar. WiseLife now plans to build on that momentum and become a household name in yoga wellness.
