Turning Agricultural Waste
Founded in 2019 by Anirudh Balakrishnan (Bala), Rohit Keshan, and Praveen Kumar, Bumboo transforms agricultural waste into eco-friendly packaging. The startup utilizes materials like sugarcane bagasse and wheat straw, offering a sustainable alternative to single-use plastics.
This innovative approach addresses two major issues: waste management and air pollution caused by crop burning, a significant problem in Delhi and surrounding areas.

Bumboo specializes in creating more than 50 plastic-free packaging products tailored for the food service industry. Their sustainable solutions have been adopted by over 3,500 businesses, including well-known brands like Zomato, Swiggy, ITC, Blue Tokai, Curefoods, Chaayos, and Barbeque Nation.
