ODA Class Raises $500,000 in Series B Funding

ODA Class, a Bengaluru-based edtech startup, has successfully raised $500,000 in a Series B funding round. This round was led by Skywalker Education Technology Co. Ltd. (Singapore), Daituzi Education Technology Corporation Limited, and Matrix Partners China. The latest investment brings the startup’s total funding to $12.75 million.

About ODA Class

Founded in 2019, ODA Class offers live online courses for students from classes 1 to 10. The platform leverages AI technologies and innovative marketing strategies to deliver high-quality education at accessible rates. The startup has already served over 25,000 long-term students and is ambitious to reach 100,000 students by 2024.

ODA Class stands out in the edtech space for its focus on providing affordable and effective learning solutions. By combining technology with quality education, the startup aims to bridge the gap in access to learning for students across India.

Purpose of Fundraising

The new capital infusion will be used to enhance technological capabilities and expand the startup’s product offerings. ODA Class is particularly focused on AI integration and digital marketing as key areas for growth.

Our focus on AI integration and digital marketing will lead us towards achieving our goal of providing accessible and quality education to students across the country.”

Financial Growth of ODA Class

ODA Class has shown impressive financial growth over the years. The company’s revenue increased from Rs 26.90 crore in FY 2021-22 to Rs 63.76 crore in FY 2022-23, further rising to Rs 65.81 crore in FY 2023-24.

Additionally, the startup has optimized its expenditures. In FY 2021-22, the expenses were reported at Rs 79.20 crore, which increased to Rs 107.81 crore in FY 2022-23. However, they were brought down to Rs 85.20 crore in FY 2023-24, reflecting a more efficient allocation of resources.

With this latest round of funding, ODA Class is set to strengthen its technological base and expand its reach across India. The focus on AI integration and digital marketing is expected to drive further growth and help the startup achieve its ambitious student enrollment goals. As ODA Class continues to grow, it remains committed to delivering high-quality, accessible education to students nationwide.
