Baby Care Startup Peeko Secures $3.2M Funding

Share post:

Baby Care Startup Peeko has raised $3.2 million in seed funding, led by Stellaris Venture Partners with support from several prominent angel investors. Some of these include Maninder Gulati (ex-Oyo), Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal (Titan Capital), Abhishek Goyal (Tracxn), Nitin Gupta (Uni), and Arjun Vaidya (V3 Ventures).

This funding will help the company strengthen supply chains, improve product experience, and build its team as it prepares for larger market expansion.

Founders and Services

Founded earlier this year by Chetan Sharma, Vivek Khetan, and Abhijit Gairola, Peeko focuses on baby care essentials such as clothing, toys, accessories, gear, and consumables. What makes the platform stand out is its promise of delivery within just 60 minutes.

Currently, the startup operates with a 4,000 sq. ft. dark store and serves customers across 10 Bengaluru pin codes. The company also plans to launch its mobile app in September to enhance accessibility.

Customer Confidence

Peeko aims to replicate the trust of offline shopping by adding features like “try and buy” and instant returns. It also uses AI-powered recommendations to help parents choose the right products quickly.

This combination of speed, reliability, and personalization allows Peeko to stand out in India’s growing quick-commerce sector, especially for time-constrained parents who want convenient access to babycare items.

Market Opportunity

According to Stellaris Venture Partners’ Mayank Jain, India’s baby and kids’ market is large, fragmented, and unbranded, but it offers high gross margins. Quick commerce adds reliability and convenience, making it a valuable solution for families.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, Peeko plans to add more dark stores in Bengaluru and also start pilot projects in other metro cities depending on demand. This step marks the startup’s ambition to scale beyond Bengaluru.

Baby Care Startup Peeko

With its fresh funding and expansion plans, Baby Care Startup Peeko is aiming to become a leading name in India’s babycare quick-commerce space. By combining fast delivery, AI-driven personalization, and customer-friendly features, Peeko is positioning itself as the go-to platform for parents.

As the company grows, it seeks to bring offline confidence and online convenience together, making babycare shopping seamless and stress-free for families.
