Ayurvedic wellness brand BabyOrgano has raised Rs 20 crore in a pre-Series A funding round. The investment was led by RPSG Capital Ventures, while existing investor Sauce.vc also participated. The company said the fresh funding will support its next phase of growth.
The new capital is planned to be used for product development, marketing expansion, and operational scale-up across the country. BabyOrgano is also aiming to achieve a revenue milestone of Rs 100 crore by the financial year 2027.
What is BabyOrgano
BabyOrgano was founded in 2020 by entrepreneurs Riddhi and Ripul Sharma. The company focuses on everyday child wellness, offering ayurveda-based, over-the-counter products designed for infants and young children. The brand claims to have served over one million parents and reported a repeat purchase rate of more than 40 percent.
The product range covers immunity boosters and daily care items, including Baalprashan Swarnaprashan Drops, Cold Relief Roll-On, Ayurvedic gummies, Sitopaladi Churna, Cough Syrup, and Chocovita Milk Mix. BabyOrgano sells its products through a mix of e-commerce platforms and retail channels across India.
After Funding Plans
The company plans to increase its innovation pipeline by adding more child-focused formulations rooted in Ayurveda. In addition, distribution partnerships are expected to grow, helping the brand reach deeper into both urban and non-metro markets. Investment into strengthening operational processes and supply chain systems is also part of its expansion roadmap.
The founders said the brand remains committed to making traditional health approaches appealing and accessible to new-age parents seeking natural wellness solutions for their children.
BabyOrgano operates within the growing kids’ natural and ayurvedic wellness segment in India. The space includes established companies and emerging startups such as Mamaearth (kids’ range), The Moms Co., Dabur (kids Ayurvedic range), Himalaya BabyCare, Chicco (natural line), Mother Sparsh, and Kapiva Kids. Industry analysts say that increasing preference for chemical-free and herbal products is driving market momentum.
The competitive landscape is expected to expand further as more companies build scientifically backed, India-focused wellness solutions for children.
Wellness Startups Rising
India has experienced strong growth in consumer health and wellness startups in recent years, with investors increasingly backing brands that offer natural, preventive care for families. Ayurvedic and herbal companies catering to children have gained attention for blending traditional knowledge with modern formulations.
Market observers believe that funding support for early-stage brands like BabyOrgano signals confidence in long-term consumption trends in the country’s childcare wellness sector.
