MoEVing, a prominent player in India’s electric vehicle (EV) logistics sector, has acquired EVonGO, the mobility division of Euler Motors. This acquisition makes MoEVing the largest commercial EV fleet operator in India. With the addition of 300 L5 vehicles from EVonGO, MoEVing’s fleet has grown by 30%, bringing its total L5 vehicle count to 1,400.
Strengthening Presence in Key Cities
The acquisition has significantly enhanced MoEVing’s operations in major cities, including Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. These regions are critical hubs for urban freight transportation, and this move positions MoEVing to meet the increasing demand for sustainable logistics solutions.
Vikash Mishra, CEO of MoEVing, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition. “We are delighted to welcome EVonGO into the MoEVing family. This move strengthens our presence in key regions, helps us meet the rising demand for sustainable transportation, and creates new synergies in the EV logistics space,” he said.
EVonGO Role in the EV Sector
Launched in 2018, EVonGO provided EV fleet leasing solutions for institutional customers. As the market for electric vehicles matures, Euler Motors plans to focus on manufacturing high-quality commercial EVs. Saurav Kumar, CEO of Euler Motors, stated, “This transition allows us to concentrate on building top-tier EVs while MoEVing takes EVonGO’s momentum forward in the logistics sector.”
MoEVing has started integrating EVonGO’s fleet, customer base, and infrastructure into its operations. This strategic move aligns with MoEVing’s mission to electrify urban freight transportation. By expanding its fleet and strengthening its infrastructure, the company is now a dominant force in India’s EV logistics market.
With this acquisition, MoEVing is set to lead the transformation of urban freight transportation in India. The company’s expanded fleet and growing presence in key cities highlight its commitment to providing eco-friendly logistics solutions. This milestone is a significant step toward reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable urban transportation.
