Paytm has launched a new feature called UPI Lite Auto Top-Up to simplify small daily payments under Rs 500. This feature aims to make frequent, low-value transactions such as buying food, groceries, or paying for transport faster and easier.
Faster and Easier Payments
The UPI Lite Auto Top-Up feature allows users to make PIN-less payments for purchases under Rs 500, with a daily cap of Rs 2,000. It eliminates the need for entering a PIN for each transaction, making payments quicker. This is especially useful for people who make many small, recurring payments every day.
The feature also automatically refills the user’s balance when it falls below a set limit, so users do not have to manually top-up their wallet each time.
Clutter-Free Bank Statements
One of the key benefits of UPI Lite Auto Top-Up is the cleaner bank statements it offers. Since small payments are made through the on-device wallet, they don’t appear in the main bank account. This helps users avoid a long list of small transactions on their bank statements, keeping things neat and simple.
Additionally, users can access detailed UPI transaction records, helping them track their spending and manage their budget more effectively.
Key Features of UPI Lite Auto Top-Up
- PIN-less payments: Make quick payments up to Rs 500 without needing to enter a PIN.
- Automatic balance top-up: Set a minimum balance, and the system will automatically add funds when needed.
- Clear bank statements: Keep small payments separate from your main bank account to avoid clutter.
- Comprehensive transaction tracking: Download a detailed UPI statement to track all transactions easily.
A Paytm spokesperson explained, “With UPI Lite Auto Top-Up, users can make daily payments faster and without any hassle. It simplifies small recurring transactions while keeping bank statements clear.”
