Blinkit in Jammu: Launches Services with 3 New Stores

Blinkit, a leading quick commerce platform owned by Zomato, has expanded its services to Jammu. The company began operations with three stores, aiming to meet the city’s growing demand for fast and reliable deliveries.

Entry in Jammu

On Sunday, Blinkit announced the launch of its services in Jammu. The new stores are located in Trikuta Nagar, Roop Nagar, and Akhnoor Road. Each store will cater to specific localities, ensuring efficient delivery services for customers.

The Trikuta Nagar store will serve areas like Preet Nagar and Railhead Road. The Roop Nagar store will cover neighborhoods such as Durga Nagar and Bhawaninagar. Meanwhile, the Akhnoor Road outlet will focus on delivering to Shakti Nagar and Rehari Colony.

Blinkit CEO Statement

Albinder Dhindsa, Founder and CEO of Blinkit, shared his excitement about the expansion in a LinkedIn post. “We are excited to serve customers in this region and bring our promise of quick and reliable deliveries to their doorsteps,” he said.

Blinkit’s move into Jammu comes at a time of intense competition in the quick commerce sector. The company is competing with other major players like Zepto and Swiggy Instamart, all striving to dominate the market by offering rapid delivery services.

Leadership with New CFO

In December, Blinkit appointed Vipin Kapooria as its Chief Financial Officer. Kapooria, a former Vice President at Flipkart, is expected to enhance the company’s financial strategies and help scale its operations further. This appointment underscores Blinkit’s commitment to growth and operational excellence.

With its entry into Jammu, Blinkit is expanding its reach and bringing its efficient delivery model to more customers. The company’s focus on quick commerce and customer satisfaction positions it as a key player in the evolving market.
