The Amazon Great Indian Festival starts on September 27, and Srivastava emphasizes that it is more than just a shopping event.

“For us, the Amazon Great Indian Festival is a celebration of India’s culture, energy, and people. It’s a chance for customers to enjoy shopping, sellers to grow their business, and to blend innovation with tradition,” Srivastava said during the company’s event.

Extensive Delivery Network

To meet the high demand during the festive season, Amazon India has expanded its delivery network. The company now operates fulfillment centers in 15 states, sortation centers in 19 states, and over 2,000 delivery stations across the country. Srivastava credits the success to partnerships with India Post, Indian Railways, and 28,000 third-party delivery partners. This network ensures that Amazon reaches every part of India.

Prime Members Get Special Benefits

Amazon is also focused on improving the experience for its Prime members. Srivastava highlighted that this year, same-day deliveries have doubled compared to last year. “Prime members can enjoy faster deliveries, ensuring their festive shopping arrives right on time,” he said.
