The frenzy for Pushpa: Part 2 – The Rule is taking the entertainment world by storm! Days before its theatrical release, the film starring Allu Arjun has raked in over Rs 30 crore in advance bookings across India, signaling a massive box office opening.

The Telugu version is leading the charge, contributing Rs 10.28 crore of the advance ticket sales, while the Hindi version follows with Rs 7.45 crore. Other language versions, including Malayalam, added Rs 46.69 lakh to the tally, showing the film’s pan-India appeal. IMAX 2D and 3D formats are also witnessing remarkable traction, cementing the movie’s status as a must-watch visual spectacle.

A Ticketing Tsunami

Day 1 ticket sales have already hit an impressive 6.59 lakh across India, with key regions like Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu becoming the backbone of the frenzy. The Hindi version, in particular, shattered records by selling over 1 lakh tickets in just 24 hours at leading multiplexes, outpacing recent Bollywood biggies like Stree 2, Dunki, and Tiger 3.

Morning shows are a sensation, with early screenings at 6:20 am and 7:05 am nearly sold out. Additional slots at similar timings have been added to meet the overwhelming demand, a rare feat for Indian cinema.

Sky-High Ticket Prices Reflect Pushpa Fever

The film’s feverish anticipation is reflected in ticket prices, which have reached unprecedented heights. IMAX recliner seats are similarly pricey, with rates ranging between Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,860.

A Global Phenomenon in the Making

The mania isn’t limited to India. Advance bookings in the USA have contributed a staggering Rs 70 crore, promising a global box office storm. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 delves deeper into the high-stakes rivalry between Pushpa Raj and Bhanwar Singh, ensuring another power-packed, action-filled ride for fans.
