HR Learning Network (HRLN), an initiative by the Institute of Integrated Development and Research (IIDR), celebrated its 5th anniversary on Sunday, June 16, 2024. The event, held at the Hotel Hindustan International, brought together over 120 HR professionals for a day of insightful discussions and networking. Conceptualized by Sayak Sarkar, Co-Founder of IIDR and HR Learning Network, the celebration marked a significant milestone for HRLN.
The event started with a lamp lighting ceremony, graced by distinguished guests such as Suprakash Das, Director at TCG CREST; Bhaskar Ghosh Dastidar, Chairman of IIDR; and Somesh Dasgupta, Whole Time Director at India Power.
Panel Discussions and Keynote Address
The celebration featured several panel discussions with esteemed speakers from various industries. Notable speakers included Subhasri Sengupta, CHRO of Senco Gold and Diamonds; Debraj Roy, HR Head of Lux Industries; Samar Banerjee, CHRO of Star Cement; Anubrata Chatterjee, DGM HR of Anmol Industries; and Bodhisattva Banerjee, Managing Director of Bassetti India Pvt Ltd. These industry leaders shared insights on current trends, challenges, and innovations in HR.
Anindita Dutta Paul, Head HR at Madhujayanti International Pvt Limited, delivered the keynote address, highlighting emerging trends and future directions in HR practices.
Networking and Celebrations
The event provided ample networking opportunities, allowing HR professionals from diverse industries to connect. The celebration also included a cake-cutting ceremony and a special segment reflecting on HRLN’s achievements over the past five years.
