Global technology company Google has announced a two-week AI skilling program under Google for Startups India. The initiative is designed to help early-stage founders, startup teams, and aspiring entrepreneurs build launch-ready prototypes using Artificial Intelligence. Google said the program will provide the right tools and knowledge needed to convert ideas into functional products at a faster pace.
Participants will be trained to use Google’s full-stack AI ecosystem and learn practical methods to accelerate product development. The goal is to make AI adoption easier, even for those with limited technical backgrounds.
Google AI Skilling
The programme is scheduled to run from November 27 to December 7, 2025. During the sessions, attendees will engage in hands-on learning covering AI-first ideation, research, design, and deployment. Google’s advanced AI tools such as Gemini, Nano Banana, Imagen, Veo, NotebookLM, and AI Studio will be part of the core training curriculum.
According to the company, the program focuses on key skill areas like AI-first prototyping, AI-powered research, and creative AI development. Successful participants will receive a Google-recognised Certificate of Participation at the end of the training.
Showcase Opportunity Offer
Outstanding performers will qualify for the “Build the Future” showcase planned for January 2026. This platform will allow selected innovators to present their AI-led projects and gain mentorship from Google experts. The company said the showcase aims to identify promising startup ideas that can be further supported through Google’s network.

Ragini Das, Head of Google for Startups – India, said the initiative reflects Google’s commitment to making AI accessible to all founders. She added that the company wants to break traditional coding barriers and help entrepreneurs move from concept to launch with confidence.
Supported By Government Initiatives
The initiative has received support from MeitY Startup Hub, Startup India, IndiaAI Mission, and Nasscom. MeitY Startup Hub CEO Panneerselvam Madanagopal said the programme aligns with India’s Digital India vision by empowering founders to create globally competitive solutions that drive social progress using AI technologies.
Google also highlighted that India has become one of the fastest-growing AI innovation markets in the world. The company announced in September that the latest cohort of its three-month AI Accelerator included 20 startups selected from more than 1,600 applicants.
Indian Startups Growing
As per Google, India’s generative AI startup ecosystem has grown 3.7 times over the past year, making the country the second-largest hub for GenAI startups globally. Industry experts believe that increased access to AI tools and structured training will enable more homegrown companies to unlock new business opportunities and drive technological leadership.
