Titan Capital Winners Fund, a SEBI-registered Category-II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), has announced the final closure of its fund at Rs 333 crore. Originally planned to raise Rs 200 crore in August 2024, the fund saw increased investor interest, which led to the firm exercising its greenshoe option and raising extra capital.
Fund Backed by Leading Entrepreneurs
The fund is anchored by Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, two well-known names in India’s startup world. Both founders have been active in the ecosystem since 2011, investing in over 280 companies. As the largest investors in this fund, they plan to continue backing promising startups, making a lasting impact on India’s growing startup industry.
Experienced Team at the Helm
The fund is managed by an experienced team. Chetan Rana, the CFO, brings expertise from working with leading firms like WestBridge Capital and Edelweiss Financial Group. Shiv Kapoor, Vice President, has over a decade of experience in the startup sector, having worked with companies like Dropbox and Urban Company. Together with Bahl and Bansal, the team aims to support startups by providing not just financial help, but also valuable mentorship.
Focus on Tech-Enabled Businesses
Titan Capital plans to invest in around 20 tech-enabled businesses, with an average investment of Rs 15 crore. The fund will primarily focus on follow-on rounds of successful startups from its seed portfolio, using data-driven insights to make strategic investments.

The fund has already made its first three investments. Convin, based in Bengaluru, is developing an AI co-pilot for customer support teams, serving clients like Flipkart and ICICI Bank. Beco, a Mumbai-based startup, makes eco-friendly homecare products, including cleaning solutions and paper-based items. Simplismart is a platform that helps businesses deploy machine learning models more efficiently. Titan Capital is also evaluating several other potential deals.
