BharatPe has announced its partnership with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to offer food ordering and delivery through its app. This integration allows BharatPe customers to easily order food without needing multiple apps, making the user experience more seamless and convenient.
This new feature is available to 15 million BharatPe users, giving them access to over 1.4 lakh restaurants across more than 400 cities listed on the ONDC network. It is BharatPe’s first integration since launching consumer payments last month.
ONDC Food Ordering
BharatPe users can now browse through a wide variety of local restaurants and cuisines, from popular chains to hidden local favorites. The app has a user-friendly interface that makes browsing, selecting, and ordering food simple and intuitive. Customers can also track their orders in real time, from the time the food is prepared to when it’s delivered.
Additionally, BharatPe will offer personalized food recommendations based on users’ preferences and previous orders, creating a tailored food experience for each user.

ONDC Network Overview
The ONDC network consists of 99 apps in total, including 24 buyer apps and 75 seller apps. This allows shoppers to choose from multiple apps based on their product needs, while sellers can list their services on the platform. Customers using any buyer app can buy from sellers listed on any seller app, expanding opportunities for merchants and consumers alike.
This collaboration helps both BharatPe and ONDC work towards digital growth in India, making services like food delivery more efficient and accessible to millions of users.
