Zomato is expanding its ‘restaurant services hub’ across India. This hub is a one-stop plan to help restaurants scale up their operations. It provides support with staffing, licensing, and other complexities involved in running a restaurant.

In the past six months, Zomato restaurant services hub has already helped over 3,200 restaurants. Now, these services are being offered to all restaurants in India, regardless of their existing relationship with Zomato. The hub aims to assist restaurant owners with everything from finding the best location and suppliers to obtaining necessary licenses and hiring the right staff.

Benefits for Restaurants

Rakesh Ranjan, CEO of Food Delivery at Zomato, said, “The restaurant services hub platform is only a step towards our vision of creating a full-stack solution for any restaurant owner looking to set up shop or scale their existing business. By strengthening partnerships and facilitating collaboration within the industry, we are focused on building a more resilient and inclusive ecosystem in the country.”

Offered Services

The platform currently offers various services related to staffing, including the option to outsource the entire hiring process with a guarantee period for new employees. It also helps with essential licenses such as GST registration, FSSAI registration or renewal, and trademark registration.

Zomato plans to add more services soon, including point-of-sale (POS) device integrations and hygiene audits. The hub also allows users to compare vendors, track services, and avail of discounted prices.

Accessing the Services

These services are accessible to Zomato restaurant partners through their Restaurant Partner App or Dining App. Importantly, the platform is open to all restaurants across India, irrespective of their existing arrangement with Zomato. The hub aims to simplify the operational challenges faced by restaurants and to support their growth and success in the competitive market.

Zomato’s new restaurant services hub is designed to help restaurants grow and succeed. By providing essential support and simplifying operational challenges, Zomato aims to build a stronger, more resilient restaurant ecosystem across India.
