Zepto Partners with Truecaller for Better Customer Communication

Share post:

Zepto, the Mumbai-based quick commerce startup known for its 10-minute delivery service, has partnered with Truecaller to improve customer trust and communication. This collaboration aims to make interactions between customers and Zepto’s team more seamless and secure.

Zepto Truecaller Partnership

With the help of Truecaller’s Customer Experience Solutions, Zepto will now show Verified Business Caller ID when calling users. This means customers will see Zepto’s name, logo, and a verification badge on incoming calls. The goal is to reduce unanswered calls and build stronger trust during customer interactions.

The integration also brings in advanced features such as Video Caller ID, Call Reason, and Call Me Back. These tools allow Zepto to send branded visuals, explain why they’re calling, and even confirm deliveries with more context. Customers will be able to quickly identify who is calling and why, making each interaction smoother.

Marketing and Campaigns

Truecaller’s Verified Campaigns will also help Zepto run promotional SMS and voice campaigns during peak hours. These campaigns are targeted toward high-intent users who are most likely to respond. This feature is especially useful during flash sales or festive promotions when fast response times matter.

For easier onboarding, Zepto will now offer one-tap, OTP-free login through Truecaller’s SDK. This helps reduce friction for users signing into the Zepto and Zepto Café apps, improving conversion rates and reducing user drop-offs.

Founders Emphasize Trust

Zepto co-founder Kaivalya Vohra said trusted communication is key to every successful delivery and customer experience. He believes this partnership will improve both operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Truecaller, which is based in Stockholm and publicly listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, says this deal adds to its 2,500+ global business partnerships. In 2024 alone, the company claims to have blocked over 56 billion spam calls.

Future Of Urban Delivery

Founded in 2021, Zepto continues to grow rapidly across India, delivering everything from groceries to ready-to-eat meals via its dark store model. With this new partnership, Zepto aims to strengthen customer trust and deliver even more reliable service.
