Shah Rukh Khan Joins Zomato as Brand Ambassador

Deepinder Goyal-led Zomato announces that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is now its official brand ambassador. The move comes after Khan appeared in the company’s latest campaign, Fuel Your Hustle, which highlights determination, ambition, and the passion driving some of India’s most celebrated personalities.

Speaking about the association, Khan says that Zomato’s journey reflects his own. “Zomato’s story is one of hustle, innovation, and a love for connecting people with what they cherish most – great food. It’s a journey that resonates with me deeply, and I’m thrilled to be part of a brand that has become a household name across India,” he says.

Zomato Partners with Shah Rukh

The company reveals that Khan will be featured across multiple marketing channels, including television commercials, online campaigns, print ads, and outdoor promotions. The aim is to inspire millions to keep working towards their goals, just as Khan has done in his career.

Sahibjeet Singh Sawhney, Zomato’s Marketing Head, says, “Shah Rukh Khan’s journey, from humble beginnings to becoming a global icon, mirrors the grit and persistence we believe in. No shortcuts, just relentless progress. His influence transcends generations and borders, motivating India to keep going.”

Leadership Changes

The announcement comes shortly after changes in Zomato’s leadership. Last month, Eternal, Zomato’s parent company, appointed Aditya Mangla as the new CEO of its food ordering and delivery business. Mangla joined Zomato in March 2021 and has held key positions in the company before taking on this role.

He replaces Rakesh Ranjan, whose two-year term as food delivery CEO ended on July 6. Ranjan will continue working with the company in a different role, though he will no longer be part of the senior management team.
