MS Dhoni-Backed Garuda Aerospace Unveils India’s First Drone Showroom

Garuda Aerospace, a homegrown drone startup backed by MS Dhoni, has launched the country’s first exclusive drone showroom in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The move aims to enhance accessibility and awareness of drone technology across India.

Immersive Experience for Customers

The state-of-the-art showroom offers a variety of drones for enthusiasts and professionals, along with high-tech interactive drone simulators using VR goggles for a realistic flying experience. Customers can also book and reserve drone services through a Live LED wall.

Catering to Various Applications

The showroom caters to a wide range of drone applications, including videography, surveillance, agriculture, inspections, and recreational flying. It serves as a one-stop shop for all drone-related needs, aiming to make drone technology more accessible nationwide.

Company Expansion Plans

Garuda Aerospace plans to open showrooms in 20 major cities across India within the next 6-8 months and establish 300 showrooms nationwide. This expansion aims to boost consumer awareness and direct sales of drones, fostering greater adoption of drone technology.

Leadership Commitments

Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, emphasized the company’s commitment to making drone technology accessible and user-friendly for everyone. Dr. R Velraj, Vice Chancellor of Anna University, praised Garuda Aerospace’s efforts and highlighted plans for a dedicated curriculum to support drone adoption.

Market Presence and Achievements

Since its inception in 2015, Garuda Aerospace has grown significantly, operating a fleet of over 400 drones and 500 skilled pilots across 84 cities. The company has sold 2,500 drones so far, with plans to sell 25,000 agri drones and consumer drones in the coming years. Garuda Aerospace holds a significant market share in the Precision Agri Drone market and has dual DGCA approvals for drone manufacturing and pilot training.
